Black Moms Daily: Who are you and what do you do?
I’m Natoya Davis, a receptionist for an insurance company.

BMD: What was your first reaction when you found that you were carrying twins?
I was shocked, this was my second time being pregnant with twins.

BMD: Did you take any special care to cope up with your twin pregnancy?
No, it was natural.

BMD: Did you have any complications during your pregnancy or delivery? 
The only complication I had was low iron so I had to get an iron infusion. I was really weak pregnant.

BMD: Were your twins born Premature?
No, they weren’t premature.

BMD: What are the ups and downs of being a twin mom? And what’s your typical day like?
It is a lot with twins but overall they are pretty good kids they sleep mostly throughout the day.

BMD: What fascinates you the most about twins (especially your own)?
The way they are so close means a lot to mean and they sleep all night when I put them together.

BMD: What was the biggest fear you had going into twin motherhood?
I thought it was going to be very hard being that I already have a 2-year-old and 3-year-old but everything balances itself out.

BMD: What has surprised you the most about your twins?
What surprises me the most is that they sleep all night. 8:45pm-5:00am

BMD: What is the number one myth about having twins you would like to debunk?
People told me having twins was so hard and it is not at all.

BMD: Is there any advice about having twins you wish you had been given?
No, not really.

BMD: What do you do when both babies are crying?
Most of the time when they cry they are sleepy or hungry. I will feed both of them at 1 time I usually prop a bottle up on one of them.

BMD: Do twins run in your family?
They are the 1st set of twins in the family on both sides.

BMD: How do you handle their sleeping pattern?
They do everything together eat and sleep.

BMD: What are some tips/tricks you would share with a new (or pregnant) mom of twins?
Keep them on the same schedule change them together feed them together so everything together.

BMD: Do you have any tips for breastfeeding twins? Do you feed them formula? 
I feed them formula.

BMD: What will be your supporting words for new twin moms?
Having twins is a wonderful experience I love it and you will get so much attention in public everywhere you go.

BMD: Have you ever been overwhelmed with mommy guilt and felt that you couldn’t do justice to your twin mom role? If so, how did you overcome this?
No, never.

BMD: How would you describe motherhood in your own words?
Motherhood is doing everything for your child and being there physically and financially.

BMD: How much does it cost to raise twins?
I’m not sure since they are still small. But diapers is what you need the most with twins you go through a lot every week. I still have baby shower gift so I haven’t had to buy a lot of items
